Our range of Trajan microscope slides are optimal for frozen sections, heat-induced antigen/epitope retrieval (HIER) immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) based techniques.

MAGNUS

Lean by Design. MAGNUS is the processor with the highest uptime by design. It does not require paraffin transfers, saving time and potential blockages. There are no cleaning cycles and a reduced consumption of reagents overall, delivering dramatic cost savings.

Safe by Design. It runs xylene-free, enabling long paraffin reutilization. Additionally, it checks alcohol purity before every step using the (optional) reagent sensor.

During the day, MAGNUS runs urgent biopsies in short, fully automated, continuous loading processes.

PrestoPRO

PRESTO PRO is an innovative benchtop processor/stainer for high quality frozen sections. It introduces a standardised approach to processing slides using FineFIX, a patented Milestone solution, followed by fully automated staining protocols.

It is now possible to produce frozen sections with permanent-like quality by combining the artefact-free tissue freezing of PrestoCHILL with the outstanding features of the all-new PRESTO PRO processing/staining unit.

Series 1 Advanced

Trajan Series 1 Advanced Adhesive microscope slides have a hydrophilic surface with a contact angle around 30° and strong adherence.

Advanced Adhesive slides are optimised for use in diagnostic applications including immunohistochemistry (IHC) as can undergo harsh processes. With no autofluorescence, these slides are optimal for in situ hybridisation (ISH) based applications.

Series 2 Adhesive

Trajan Series 2 Adhesive microscope slides are manufactured with a specialised adhesion coating that provides improved tissue sample adherence and extensibility together with reduced background staining. The slides are made of fine glass with superior flatness and transmittance with minimal intrinsic fluorescence.

Slides are available with ground edges and clipped corners in a variety of colours. Slides are pre-cleaned, carefully inspected and ready to use.

Series 2 Frosted

Trajan Series 2 Frosted microscope slides are manufactured using high quality extra plane glass with minimal autofluorescence, thereby suitable for both histology and microbiology applications.

Series 3 Adhesive

Trajan Series 3 Adhesive microscope slides are manufactured with a specialised fortified adhesion coating that provides improved tissue sample adherence and extensibility. The slides are made of fine glass with superior flatness and transmittance with minimal intrinsic fluorescence.

Slides are available with ground edges and clipped corners in a variety of colours. Slides are pre-cleaned, carefully inspected and ready to use.

Series 1 Frosted

Trajan Series 1 Frosted microscope slides are non coated and frosted at one end to facilitate sample identification. These slides are optimised for printing with automated slide printers.

Available with 90° or beveled edges in a variety of colours. Slides are pre-cleaned, carefully inspected and ready to use.

Printer

Our range of Slee printers allow printing directly onto slides to permit relevant data to be recorded along with the sample. This improves the efficiency and reliability of records, future sample analysis and processing.

Water Bath

Water baths are utilized to stretch paraffin sections for analysis. The Slidetec Water/Heat Bath product below combines stretching with the subsequent drying of the section to facilitate analysis.

Microtomy

Microtomes are precision cutting tools that produce thin slices of tissue for analysis, usually between 2–10 μm. We carry a range of Microtomy equipment that can be viewed below.

Slidetec Water/Heat Bath

The SLEE waterbath and slide warmer combination, Slidetec WATER/HEAT, is designed for stretching paraffin sections and subsequently drying on microscope slides. This instrument combines functional design with safety and ergonomic features.

Printtec S

The Printtec S slide printer can significantly increase the efficiency of your laboratory and at the same time reduce the risk of incorrectly identifying samples. It prints directly on slides and eliminates handwriting or expensive, difficult-to-apply xylene-resistant labels.

With an impressive 300 dpi print resolution, you can print text, graphics and logos along with high resolution linear and 2D barcodes on any slide you edit. Slide printing is also possible in full colour with Printtec S.

Printtec C

The Printtec C cassette printer from Slee can significantly increase the efficiency of the laboratory and at the same time reduce the risk of samples being incorrectly identified and assigned.

The Printtec C cassette printer prints black, monochrome or multicoloured as required. Bar codes and QR codes are also printed directly on the printing surface of the cassette. This enables a more efficient workflow and also increases safety for the patient.
